Bon Fleur

Last Thursday we hosted a lovely group of floral enthusiasts at the studio for the Bon Fleur Seminar
We spent the night mixing and mingling with old and new friends, eating french sweets, and amongst the incredibly gorgeous floral designs of Houston's own Something Special in Flowers!  Welcome to the photo recap of the event captured by the fabulous Sarah McKenzie!
Guests were greeted at the door by our vintage bicycle overflowing with lucious florals!  A taste of what was waiting inside!
We handmade booklets of floral tips and displayed them in our French market basket
Our schoolhouse chalkboard displayed an array of lovely blooms identified by name and meaning!

A Bridal Shower Fit For a Queen {of hearts!}

This next shower I am about to share is very special to us becuase it is for a client who over the last year has become a dear friend and part of the Recollection family!  We first met Amanda last year when we styled her engagement session.  Since then, we have worked with her on several shoots, and have loved accompanying her on her wedding journey!  When she asked us to help design and implement her "Alice in Wonderland" bridal shower, we were ecstatic!  We worked with her invitation and pinterest board as inspiration and took it from there, desiging the tablescape, floral, place settings, and more!  Amanda has impeccable taste and always dazzles us with her fashion, accessories and personal touches.  To top it off, Archetype attended the shower to photograph the fun, and here is the result!
