"Unveiling" our Bridal Extravaganza Photo Booth Backdrops 2011

The Bridal Extravaganza is happening this weekend! By now, the excitement is certainly at its peak! Brides will soon be arriving, ready to race into the George R. Brown and meet some of Houston's best vendors, all in one place! While we are not participating in the show this year, we do get to make a little cameo appearance in LG Entertaintment's booth. We will have two photo booth backdrops that we designed specifically for the Bridal Show on display.

The first design is our vintage pink and white striped chaise paired with the prettiest and most sparkly garland I have ever seen, to create an ultra glam backdrop for photos.

The second is a vanity set we created with the bride in mind. A very plush royal chair and the perfect props for "getting ready! "

So ladies, get ready and stop by LG's booth, to strike a pose in our sets! You will receive instant print outs of your images!

One of the best things about starting this business is the amazing people that we have gotten to meet along the way. We have been so fortunate to be connected with some of Houston's finest industry professionals who are not only super talented, but also so sweet, so genuine, and so supportive of our business! It means the world to us! A few people in particular, are Adam of Adam Nyholt photography, as well as his creative assistant, Courtney! Recently, we participated in their Open House fundraiser for YES Prep public schools. YES Prep exists to increase the number of low-income Houstonians who graduate from a four-year college. Adam wanted to create a fun backdrop for guests to take photos, and so we staged an old-fashioned school house
with vintage props and accessories. Check out the photos below :-)

A Very Girly Luncheon

I am bursting with excitement to share this bridal shower that took place at the Recollection studio last weekend in honor of my best friend, Vargo! When I began planning , I knew that I wanted this soiree to be very girly, very summery, very chic, full of frilly details and of course, vintage touches!
