Flirty + Romantic Wedding Shoot

Yuuummy! This deliciously fun and flirty shoot was an absolute dream to work on! Our incredibly stylish bride, Amanda wowed us from day one with her amazing style and impeccable taste for all things pretty! Amanda and Brandon are an absolutely adorable couple and we were delighted to style this sweet and romantic shoot for them with Rachel Robinson Photography. From the scrumptious, pink Betsey Johnson dress, to the beautiful BHLDN tea length gown, the images of this shoot read like a perfect fairytale. We love the whimsical tea party and Amanda's cute "mini mad hat" and the shopping cart scene was inspired but Amanda's love for shopping! Brandon was such a good sport and his love for Amanda is so endearing. Congrats to this fun couple!

Gone Fishing

How darling is this fishing engagement shoot by Sarah McKenzie Photography? Sarah came to Recollection looking for vintage fishing props for Kelly and Ryan's e-session and we put together the perfect "pick your props" package and sent her on her way! Love how they turned out and can't wait to work with Sarah again!

A Few New Vintage Finds

Some recent additions to our collection, with much more on the way! We have two of these gorgeous doors out of an 1800s home in Syracuse, NY.
LOVE the color of out new screen doors...we have two and they are lovely for fall!
Ultra rustic wooden chair with leather seat!
And, our cute wooden ladder and perfectly rusted red wagon are just the props for fall family shoots.

Bammel Lane: An Evening in the Gardens

Years before we launched Recollection, I can remember my mother and I visiting the Gardens of Bammel Lane and instantly falling in love with this quaint venue nestled inside the bustling River Oaks area of Houston. We were immediately smitten with this Old English Conservatory imported from London, and the impeccably kept grounds that surround it. Recently we had the opportunity to participate in their open house, assisting in the event design from the invitations, to the decor, and more! We were overjoyed to be able to showcase our vintage rentals at this hidden gem and hope to be a part of many more events at this charming venue!
